Marketing that
doesn't feel like
marketing.

I'm Jodie. I connect the dots between business strategy, creative thinking, and marketing that actually moves something forward.

§ A point of view

Pretty is nice. Purpose is better.

Ibelieve the best marketing lives somewhere between understanding what a business needs to accomplish and finding a genuinely interesting way to get there. That means asking better questions, getting close to the commercial realities, and creating work that does more than look good in a presentation.

Good marketing starts with better questions.

A few things I've made happen.

Notes to self, kept on the fridge

01

Less noise. More signal.

02

Strategy first. The interesting stuff follows.

03

Good ideas are only good if they go somewhere.

04

Creative enough to stand out. Strategic enough to matter.

05

Marketing that earns its place.

The method, such as it is

I don't start with "What should we make?" I start with "What are we trying to change?"

01

Find the actual problem

Understand the business, the audience, the opportunity, and the challenge before jumping into execution.

02

Build a strategy worth following

Connect business priorities to a clear marketing direction, meaningful messages, and measurable objectives.

03

Make the work work harder

Translate strategy into creative execution, strengthen alignment with sales, and build programs that keep delivering value beyond launch.

§ Hello

A little about the person behind the plans.

I started in journalism and editorial work, including at USA Today, which taught me to find the story, respect the reader, and cut everything that doesn't earn its place.

Since then I've grown into strategy: content, digital, brand, and B2B growth. Today I lead marketing that bridges technical expertise, sales priorities, and international audiences.
